On your sport...
I’ve played football since I was 7 years old, so 14 years.
Where is your favorite place to play (compete)?
My favorite place to play is in Ashland’s brand new football stadium or at any rival GLIAC school.
What is your favorite number? Why?
My favorite number is 23 because that was my high school number and several of my idols wore the number 23.
Who is the best player you’ve played WITH and AGAINST?
Tyrell Sutton (Hoban High-School, Northwestern University, and now with the Carolina Panthers) and Bill Cundiff (Green High School and Ashland University) are the two best players I’ve played with.
Do you have a pre-game ritual? If so, what is it?
During pre-game I listen to my ipod and focus on the game.
If you didn’t play your sport, what sport would you play?
If I didn’t play football I’d have to play tennis, it’s always been an interest of mine.
What is the worst experienced you’ve had? What did you learn from it?
The worst experiences I’ve had are both of my knee injuries. It’s very difficult feel you are performing at your fullest potential and the rehab is hard work. I learned to overcome difficult obstacles and to always strive to be better than what you are.
What do you consider as your greatest accomplishment?
Playing football at the collegiate level and working on achieving a degree in Finance, they both require dedication and hard work.
What is your most memorable moment? Why?
My most memorable moment is beating St. Vincent-St. Mary High School my senior year at the Rubber Bowl and holding the “Stick” with my teammates.
How has your sport helped you become who you are today?
Football has helped me become motivated, determined, and hard-working. Any athlete understands the blood, sweat, and tears you put into your sport and sports build an immense amount of character in individuals.
How has your family reacted to all of your sporting success?
My family loves sports and is very supportive of my sporting-success. I can count the number of games they’ve missed in the last 14 years on one-hand.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing x-box, and working out.

My mother because she has fought through so many obstacles and has always put me first in her life.

My family and friends, they will always be there for me.
What is your major? Why did you choose it?
Finance. I like the financial market and plan to someday work in the financial field.
Outside of your sport, what are your visions/goals in life?
I want to graduate and get a great job in the financial field, possibly moving outside Ohio. I plan to eventually start a family and start active in coaching/playing sports.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself working for a great company possibly in New York.
