On your sport
How long have you played? What inspired you to play?
This is my sixth year playing basketball and I was inspired to play by my father, who was a great player. Also, a lot of my close friends were involved in basketball so I wanted to play to spend time with them.
Where is your favorite place to play (compete)?
University of Dayton Arena
What is your favorite number? Why?
#22 because my father wore that number when he played and now my brothers and I all wear #22.

Who is the best player you’ve played WITH and AGAINST?
With- My teammate Kristin Daugherty, Against- Jantel Lavender (Ohio State)

Do you have a pre-game ritual? If so, what is it?
Before every game, I like to listen to music, paint my nails, and put on mascara.
If you didn’t play your sport, what sport would you play?
Volleyball
What is the worst experienced you’ve had? What did you learn from it?
When I hurt my knee last year, I was forced to cut back on basketball and had to have surgery at the end of the season. It was hard to sit on the sidelines all summer and watch my teammates practice without me, but I learned that with hard work and dedication, you can overcome your struggles and now I am back playing and having fun with my teammates.
Have you ever had an injury while performing your sport?
Yes, I have torn my meniscus 2 times and have had 2 knee surgeries
What do you consider as your greatest accomplishment?
Earning a scholarship to the University of Dayton

What is your most memorable moment? Why?
Beating Xavier in the Atlantic 10 Tournament last year because they had beat us both times previously that season and were ranked in the national top 25, but our team played with a lot of heart and determination and won in overtime.
How has your sport helped you become who you are today?
My sport has taught me to be myself and always be true to my personality regardless of what other people may think.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Shopping, texting, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends

I am obsessed with bright, obnoxious shoes, my favorite color is pink, and I have 6 dogs

My mom and dad because they are both very strong and have worked very hard in their lives to become great people and great parents who have taught me so many valuable lessons about life.

The love of my family and friends.
What is your major? Why did you choose it?
I am a marketing major because I am creative, outgoing and love interacting with people.
Outside of your sport, what are your visions/goals in life?
My main goal in life is to be happy no matter where or am or what I am doing.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years, I hope to be living in a big city, such as New York or Chicago, and working as a public relations representative for an NBA team.

I don’t know Mylan, but from what I have heard he is a very hardworking, accomplished person who has overcome a lot of struggles in his life to succeed and really help other people
