How long have you played? What inspired you to play? I’ve played since I was 6 years old. My best friend started playing rec-league ball so I wanted to play too.
Where is your favorite place to play? Anywhere in Akron
What is your favorite number? Why? #10 because that’s the # my mom wore
Who is the best player you’ve played WITH and AGAINST? With LeBron James and against Chris Paul
Do you have a pre-game ritual? If so, what is it? Nothing besides listen to my ipod and zone out. I also wore a different pair of shoes almost every game
What made you choose your school? It was close to home and one of my high school teammates chose to go there.
If you didn’t play basketball, what sport would you have played? Football
What is the worst basketball experience you’ve had? What did you learn from it? Losing my last game. I didn’t know if I would play again after so I learned to live in the moment and don’t take things for granted.
What do you consider as your greatest accomplishment? Winning a National Championship in High School and College. Also winning our conf 4 years in a row, becoming the all-time wins leader, and finally capping my senior year off with Player of the Year honors.
What is your most memorable moment? Why? Having my mom come to my senior night in a wheelchair when she was sick. That really meant a lot to me!
How has basketball helped you become who you are today? It helped me gain leadership abilities, time management skills, team work skills, and the ability to handle pressure. I wouldn’t be who I am today without basketball
How has your family reacted to all of your sporting success? I’m really thankful to have a family that supported me through thick and thin. Whatever I did, they were always proud of me.

What is your favorite part about college? Freedom and sense of being grown for once. You’re responsible to do what you’re supposed to do.

Who is the most influential person you’ve met? Why? Jay-Z. To come from where he came from to where he is now is amazing. He’s bigger than a rap star, he’s an icon. He’s 40 plus and still setting trends
