Losing the district championship my freshman year! I learned to become a better leader on the court.

Winning a State Championship my sophomore year in high school.
What has it been like to play for Coach Dru Joyce?
It’s been a great experience playing for Coach Dru! He has taught me how to use basketball to get a good education as well as how to apply it to my life and become a better young man.

I carry the things that I learn from basketball and apply them into my own life.

Just because Ricky is from Akron, OH and goes to the same high school that the Fab5 went to, please don’t get it twisted! Ricky has been on the map for years! He created a name for himself as one of the top point guards in the country a long time ago through the AAU circuit; his talent on the court definitely speaks for itself! He’s already been exposed to things that the majority of us never will never get the opportunity in life to do; winning a State Championship for his high school (Sophomore year), traveled the country, competed against the best players in the country, and is even being recruited by colleges all throughout the country.
